20 Years Warranty
The Tempur-Pedic™ warranty states that your mattress will continue
to relieve pressure and not compress more than ¾”.
Removable Cover
Tempur-Pedic's™ luxurious cotton terry cover is treated for mite
and allergy resistance and is zippered on all four sides so you
can easily remove it and throw it in the washing machine.
This is very cool.
Mattress Foundation
Tempur-Pedic™ requires that your new Tempur-Pedic™ mattress be placed
on a flat, rigid surface: an adjustable bed, the Tempur-Pedic™ foundation,
a waterbed frame, or a platform bed.

The ClassicBed
by Tempur-Pedic™ mattress was the original mattress
that first came out in 1991.
The DeluxeBed
by Tempur-Pedic™ mattress was introduced in 2001
to provide a higher profile and a softer sleep surface.
The RhapsodyBed
by Tempur-Pedic™ mattress is made with 7 pound density
memory foam. This is the densest memory foam on the market, yet
it is softer than the other 5.3 pound material made by Tempur-Pedic™.
This products a very unique and comfortable sleep experience. "
The CelebrityBed
by Tempur-Pedic™ mattress came out in 2003. A 2”
soft pillowtop was added to the Deluxe model, along with a wonderfully
soft cashmere cover. Although all three models relieve pressure,
nothing feels quite like the Celebrity mattress. It is soft but
also very supportive.
Copies of the Tempur-Pedic Mattress™
You will find many copies of the Tempur-Pedic™ mattress in
local stores and on the Internet. People ask us all the time, “What
are the differences?”
1. Design: Copies of the Tempur-Pedic™ usually have only one layer of memory foam or visco-elastic foam,
so they cannot achieve the soft on top and supportive underneath kind of feel.
We tell our customers: “If you can afford a Tempur-Pedic™ mattress, you won’t regret having made the purchase.”
2. Density, ILD, & Recovery Time: Copies often use 4-pound
memory foam, which is softer and not as durable as Tempur-Pedic’s™
5.3 pound memory foam. Even if they claim to use 5.3 pound foam,
how it feels is determined by more than just density. ILD and Recovery
Time are important factors in determining how your mattress will
feel. Descriptions of these terms are in our glossary.
3. Cover: The Tempur-Pedic™ mattress covers are very soft, durable,
and well tailored. Most copies do not use the same quality fabric,
nor are they sewn with the same attention to detail. Copies are
starting to be made in 3rd World Countries, and the overall quality
is often reduced, especially the cover which can quickly become
loose and baggy.
