Our beautiful hardwood platform beds are manufactured by The BedWorks of Maine. These finely crafted beds are the strongest and most trouble-free on the market today. The frames and rails are made of American grown ash, a wood so strong it is used to make baseball bats.
The maple slats are 13” off the floor. (Maple is used in bowling pins and has also become popular for some bats). |
When you choose a platform bed, you will not need a foundation or box spring under your Savvy Rest mattress. You simply place the mattress right on the bed’s wooden slats. The platform bed is much stronger than any foundation or box spring.
These platform beds are made without a footboard; optional footboards are available for several models.
