When we deliver a Savvy Rest mattress locally, customers often want their old mattress removed. We always oblige.
New customers often ask us if we carry some of the major names (Sealy, Simmons, Serta, Kingsdowne, etc.). In an effort to educate consumers and to see why mattresses fail, we thought it would be helpful to see what’s inside conventional mattresses.
When we remove one, always with the owner’s permission, we sometimes cut it open and take a picture. It's easy to see why most mattresses are uncomfortable. We have seen so many “coils and synthetic foam” mattresses that now we autopsy only when there is something unique about the mattress. Honestly, we find it a little depressing, but you may find it educational.
